Barbara part trois
Man, people are stepping all over themselves saying that Barbaro’s owners are giving him medical care because they love him, and if he doesn’t make them another dime, they don’t care.
I’m not surprised because a) I’m sure they do love him; and b) the whole world is watching them.
The most illuminating comment was by Gretchen Jackson.
"When one becomes a racehorse owner, one of the things is to not fall in love with the animal because it is so painful when something like this happens."
Painful for whom?
She says, "Yes, it’s a business."
