Addendum to Yesterday
First of several posts for today, and first Joke of the Day:
A friend of mine is a social worker and the Executive Director of Turtle Nest Village, which provides housing, self-sufficiency skills, education, counseling, and work readiness to youth who have "aged out" (turned 18) of the foster care system in Palm Beach County.
Oh, and she’s had like 40 dogs in her lifetime, including a wolf hybrid (she got great mileage). When I told her that my potential dog trainer suggested a shock collar as Charles’ first line of defense (or would that be my first line of defense?), she said, "That’s like somebody coming to me depressed and my first treatment for them is shock therapy."
