Fast Food Nation Opens Tomorrow
Fast Food Nation, the movie based on the fabulous book by Eric Schlosser (Fast Food Nation: The Dark Side of the All-American Meal), opens nationwide tomorrow. Check out the trailer; it definitely gives you a smattering of the many topics you’ll see addressed in the film.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has a neat game based on the book, as well as interviews and behind the scenes tidbits from the making of the movie. You can even win signed posters, scripts, and tickets.
Go to Hollywood.com, choose Fast Food Nation from the movie list, and type in your zip code. You might have to expand your radius a bit to find it. I’m going to have to drive a whole 10 miles to see it! (Shocking. Here in suburban South Florida, I can get anything I want–except this movie–within 3 miles of my house.)
I’ll write a review on Saturday morning, before I go to pick up my new Gray(ish) Honda Element SC. I think Honda’s target market for the car is Generation-X males. Oh well. Far be it for me to follow any rules.
For those of you who recall my inner turmoil regarding my vehicle decision, I’m sure you’re relieved that I will finally be able to take Charles Hobson Booger III, and Violet Rays–in one car–to their cousins’ and friends’ houses for playdates.
